Krievu valodas satura medija Rus.LSM.lv slēgšanas Latvijā pamatotība

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “Krievu valodas satura medija Rus.LSM.lv slēgšanas Latvijā pamatotība”. Darba mērķis ir analizēt mediju funkciju lomu sabiedrība; noskaidrot, vai pastāv atšķirības ziņu saturā starp Latvijas sabiedrisko mediju latviešu valodā LSM.lv un sabiedrisko mediju Rus.LSM.lv un līdz ar to, vai būtu nepieciešams likvidēt Rus.LSM.lv, ņemot vērā tā atšķirīgo saturu. Lai saprastu mediju funkciju lomu, ietekmi uz sabiedrību, mediji tiek analizēti caur to funkcijām. Savukārt, lai noskaidrotu atšķirības ziņu saturā starp Latvijas sabiedriskajiem medijiem latviešu valodā – LSM.lv un krievu valodā – Rus.LSM.lv, tiek izmantota kontentanalīzes metode, analizējot ziņu saturu 2021., 2022., 2023., gada 1. – 15. novembrī. Darba rezultātā secināts, ka, ņemot vērā vislielāko rakstu skaitu analizētajā laika periodā, Krievija Krievijas iebrukuma Ukrainā kontekstā abos medijos atspoguļojas ļoti līdzīgi, tādā veidā veidojot vienotu nāciju caur vienlaicīgas informācijas saņemšanu. Līdz ar to neapstiprinās darbā izvirzītā hipotēze, ka Latvijas sabiedriskā medija Rus.LSM.lv darbība ir jāizbeidz, ņemot vērā tā saturiskās atšķirības ar latviešu valodā esošo sabiedrisko mediju LSM.lv. The topic of the Master's thesis is “The validity of the closure of the Russian language content medium rus.lsm.lv in Latvia”. The aim of the work is to analyze the role of media functions in society; to find out whether there are differences in the news content between the Latvian public media LSM.lv and the public media Rus.LSM.lv and, therefore, whether it would be necessary to liquidate Rus.LSM.lv, taking into account its different content. In order to understand the role of media functions, the impact on society, media are analyzed through their functions. On the other hand, in order to find out the differences in the news content between the Latvian public media in the Latvian language - LSM.lv and in the Russian language - Rus.LSM.lv, the content analysis method is used, analyzing the news content in 2021, 2022, 2023, 1-15 in November. As a result of the work, it was concluded that, taking into account the largest number of articles in the analyzed time period, Russia in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is reflected very similarly in both media, thus creating a unified nation through receiving simultaneous information. Therefore, the hypothesis put forward in the work, that the operation of the Latvian public media Rus.LSM.lv should be terminated, taking into account the content differences with the Latvian-language public media LSM.lv, is not confirmed.
