Baltijas valstu augsto tehnoloģiju produkcijas eksporta konkurētspēja Eiropas Savienībā

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir analizēt Baltijas valstu augsto tehnoloģiju produkcijas (pēc NACE 2.red.) eksporta konkurētspēju Eiropas Savienībā. Eksporta konkurētspēja pētīta farmaceitisko pamatvielu un farmaceitisko preparātu (C21) un datoru, elektronisko un optisko izstrādājumu (C26) segmentos. Eksporta konkurētspējas rādītāju kopums (MS, RCA, RSCA) izmantots Baltijas valstu eksporta konkurētspējas dinamikas noteikšanai ES no 2012. līdz 2022. gadam, bet daļēji strukturētu ekspertu interviju tematiskā analīze ir pamats nozares attīstības izpratnei pētāmajā periodā un nākotnes perspektīvā. Pētījuma rezultāti norāda Baltijas valstu atšķirīgo, bet visās valstīs zemo eksporta konkurētspēju augsto tehnoloģiju produkcijas segmentos, to ietekmējot vēsturiskai nozares attīstībai un valstu stratēģiskam fokusam uz zināšanu ietilpīgas ekonomikas attīstību, ko iespējams sekmēt ar dažādiem atbalsta instrumentiem un nozares konkurētspējas veicināšanu, novēršot pastāvošos nozares potenciāla īstenošanas šķēršļus.

The aim of the Master's thesis is to analyse the export competitiveness of the Baltic States' high-tech products (according to NACE Rev. 2) in the European Union. Export competitiveness has been studied in the segments of basic pharmaceutical substances and preparations (C21) and computer, electronic and optical products (C26). A set of export competitiveness indicators (MS, RCA, RSCA) has been used to determine the dynamics of the Baltic States' export competitiveness in the EU from 2012 to 2022, while the thematic analysis of semi-structured expert interviews is the basis for understanding the development of the sector in the period under study and in the future. The results of the study indicate the different, but in all countries low export competitiveness of the Baltic States in the high-tech product segments, affecting it to the historical development of the sector and the state's strategic focus on the development of a knowledge-intensive economy, which can be promoted with various support instruments and promotion of the sector's competitiveness, removing obstacles to the realization of the sector's potential.
