Partnerības regulējuma rāmējums Latvijas reģionālajos laikrakstos un nacionālo ziņu portālos laikā no 2023. gada 1. novembra līdz 2024. gada 1. augustam

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Partnerības regulējuma rāmējums Latvijas reģionālajos laikrakstos un nacionālo ziņu portālos laikā no 2023. gada 1. novembra līdz 2024. gada 1. augustam”. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt to, kādā veidā Latvijas informatīvajā telpā tiek runāts par Latvijas LGBT kopienu, jo Partnerības institūts paredz to, ka savstarpēju savienību var slēgt arī viendzimuma pāri un šis likums ir svarīgs tieši viņiem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika apskatīts no dienaskārtības teorijas puses tas, kādā veidā un vai par partnerības institūtu tiek ziņos reģionālajos laikrakstos un nacionālajos ziņu protālos. Tika pētīta reģionālo laikrakstu nozīme, kā arī tas, kādā veidā tas saintigrējas ar sabiedriskās domas un tolerances teoriju. Pētījuma daļā, datu vākšanai, tika izmantota kvalitatīvā metode, kurā tika pētīti laikraksti un apkopota informācija, kā arī tas pats tika darīts ar nacionālajiem ziņu portāliem. Ievākto informāciju no reģionālajiem laikrakstiem un nacionālajiem ziņu portāliem strukturizēja izmantojot rāmēšanas teoriju.

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is “The Framing of Partnership Regulation in Regional Newspapers and National News Portals in Latvia from November 1, 2023, to August 1, 2024” The aim of the thesis is to examine how the topic of Latvia's LGBT community is addressed in Latvian media, given that the Partnership Law provides for the possibility of legal unions between same-sex couples, making this law particularly significant for them. The theoretical part of the thesis will explore, from the perspective of agenda-setting theory, how and if the partnership institution is reported on in regional newspapers and national news portals. This section will also consider the role of regional newspapers and analyze how this topic interacts with public opinion and tolerance theory. In the research part, a qualitative method will be employed to collect data by analyzing and compiling information from both newspapers and national news portals. The information gathered from regional newspapers and national news portals will be organized by the researcher using framing theory.
