Latviešu Ziemassvētku tradīciju iepazīšana jaukta vecuma bērnu grupā pirmsskolā

Abstract

Darba autore: Gunita Pumpure Darba nosaukums: Latviešu Ziemassvētku tradīciju iepazīšana jaukta vecuma bērnu grupā pirmsskolā Darba mērķis - teorētiski un empīriski izpētīt latviešu Ziemassvētku tradīciju apguves iespējas jaukta vecuma bērnu grupā pirmsskolā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā analizētas teorētiskās nostādnes un metodiskie ieteikumi pedagogiem par latviešu gadskārtu tradīciju iepazīšanu un mācīšanu pirmsskolas izglītības iestādēs; apkopotas zinātniskās atziņas par darbu ar jaukta vecuma bērnu grupām izglītības iestādēs; raksturots Ziemassvētku tradīciju saturs, metodika un vērtēšana jaukta vecuma bērnu grupā. Darba praktiskā daļa tika īstenota laika posmā no 2023.gada novembra beigām līdz 2023.gada decembra beigām tika organizēts darbs ar jaukta vecuma bērniem pirmsskolā (a) sagatavojoties Ziemassvētku svinībām, (b) integrējot visās mācību jomās ar tradīcijas iepazīšanu saistītās tēmas un jautājumus, (c) plānojot un piemērojot mācību metodes vecuma grupas īpatnībām un bērnu attīstības un zināšanu līmenim. Lai novērtētu, cik lielā mērā bērni ir iepazinuši un izpratuši latviešu Ziemassvētku tradīcijas, decembra sākumā tika veikts sākotnējais bērnu zināšanu novērtējums un decembra beigās - atkārtotais bērnu zināšanu novērtējums, kā arī analizēti un salīdzināti abu novērtējumu rezultāti. Empīriskajā daļa tika veikta padziļinātā daļēji strukturētā kvalitatīvā intervija ar brīvdabas pedagoģijas eksperti, jaukta vecuma pirmsskolas izglītības iestādes vadītāju. Intervija tika veikta, lai salīdzinātu Autores izmantoto pedagoģisko pieeju latviešu ziemassvētku tradīcijas apgūšanā ar pētījuma ekspertes pieredzi un ieteikumiem, izdarītu secinājumus par labo praksi un empīriskā pētījuma trūkumiem un veiksmes faktoriem. Tāpat pētījuma ekspertes viedoklis kalpoja secinājumu izdarīšanai un ieteikumu izstrādei pedagogiem tradīcijas apguves īstenošanā. Pētījumā secināts, ka latviešu ziemassvētku tradīciju apguvē pirmsskolas izglītības iestāde pilda ģimenes un kopienas lomu paaudžu mantojuma nodošanā. Darbs ar jaukta vecuma bērniem piedāvā būtiskas priekšrocības, bet līdztekus izaicinājumiem mācību procesa plānošanā šī darba efektivitāti var ierobežot pedagoga pieredzes trūkums un nepietiekami cilvēkresursi. Jēgpilnu Ziemassvētku tradīcijas iepazīšanu nodrošina vairāki faktori, tostarp, secīgs svētku gaidīšanas, plānošanas un organizēšanas process, bērnu aktīva un praktiska iesaiste tradīciju apguves procesā, ziemassvētku tradīciju apguve likumsakarīgā saistībā ar citiem gadskārtu svētkiem un dabas norišu cikliskumu. Author: Gunita Pumpure Title: Cognizance of Latvian Christmas traditions in a mixed-age children group in preschool Objective: the objective of this study is to examine the learning opportunities of Latvian Christmas traditions in a mixed-age preschool classroom setting applying theoretical and empirical research. Theoretical part of the study comprises the analysis of the theoretical guidelines and methodological recommendations for pedagogues on teaching and learning of Latvian annual cultural traditions in preschool educational institutions; summarized scientific findings on work with mixed-age group in educational institutions; provided characteristics on content of Christmas traditions, methodology and assessment of work in mixed-age group. Empirical Framework: the work with mixed-age groups in preschool took place from the end of November 2023 to the end of December 2023. During this period, the activities comprised (1) the preparations for the Christmas festivities, (2) the comprehensive integration of the Christmas celebrations themed questions and traditions in the teaching practice, (3) planning and applying teaching methods appropriate for different age groups, development stages, and knowledge levels. For the purpose of establishing how well the children have learnt and understood Latvian Christmas traditions, the initial assessment of the involved group of children was carried out at the very beginning of December 2023. At the end of December 2023, the second assessment of the involved group of children was performed. After completing the two evaluation stages, the analysis and comparison of the collected results were carried out. In the empirical part of the study, the semi-structured qualitative interview was also conducted with a director of mixed-age classroom preschool educational institution having a professional and scholarly expertise in the outdoor education. The interview was conducted in order to compare the pedagogical approach used by the Author in learning the Latvian Christmas tradition with the experience and recommendations of the research expert, to draw conclusions about good practice and the shortcomings and success factors of teaching methods. Likewise, the opinion of the research expert served to draw conclusions and develop recommendations for teachers to ensure cognizance of Latvian Christmas traditions in a mixed-age children group in preschool. Conclusion: The study concluded that in learning the Latvian Christmas tradition, the preschool educational institution to certain extent substitutes family and community in passing on the heritage of generations. Work with mixed-age group offers significant advantages, but along with challenges in planning the learning process, the effectiveness of this work can be limited by the teacher's lack of experience and insufficient human resources.
