CLIL pieeja vārdu krājuma pilnveidei angļu valodas stundās 5.klasē

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) pieejas efektivitāti angļu valodas vārdu krājuma pilnveidei 5. klases skolēniem. CLIL pieeja apvieno mācību priekšmetu saturu ar valodas apguvi, veicinot skolēnu motivāciju, iesaisti un valodas prasmju attīstību. Darba teorētiskajā daļā analizēti CLIL pieejas pamatprincipi, tās priekšrocības un izaicinājumi, kā arī globālie un Latvijas pētījumi. Empīriskajā daļā veikta novērošana un aptaujas, lai izvērtētu CLIL pieejas ietekmi uz skolēnu vārdu krājumu, izmantojot mācību stundās integrētas aktivitātes un praktiskus uzdevumus. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāja, ka CLIL metode būtiski uzlabo skolēnu spēju apgūt un izmantot jaunos vārdus, vienlaikus veicinot viņu sadarbības un kognitīvās prasmes. Secinājumos uzsvērta CLIL pieejas nozīmība mūsdienu izglītības procesā un sniegti ieteikumi tās efektīvākai ieviešanai skolās.

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to explore the effectiveness of the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) approach in enhancing English vocabulary acquisition among 5th-grade students. The CLIL approach integrates subject content with language learning, fostering students' motivation, engagement, and language skill development. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the fundamental principles of the CLIL approach, its advantages and challenges, as well as global and Latvian studies. The empirical part includes observations and surveys to evaluate the impact of the CLIL approach on students' vocabulary, utilizing integrated activities and practical tasks in lessons. The research results revealed that the CLIL method significantly improves students' ability to acquire and use new vocabulary, while also promoting their collaboration and cognitive skills. The conclusions highlight the importance of the CLIL approach in modern education and provide recommendations for its more effective implementation in schools.
