Dabas novērošanas un pētīšanas prasmju apguve 2. klases tematā “Kas ir laikapstākļi, un kā tie mainās?”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba autore - Ieva Veismane-Paķe. Darba nosaukums: “Dabas novērošanas un pētīšanas prasmju apguve 2.klases tematā “Kas ir laikapstākļi, un kā tie mainās?” Darbā tiek izvirzīta un pārbaudīta hipotēze - ja mācību procesā tiek izmantota mācību metode kura paredz patstāvīgu pētīšanu un iegūto rezultātu analīzi, tad novērošanas un pētīšanas prasmes tiek attīstītas optimālā līmenī. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, kur analizēta literatūra un citi avoti par mācību metodēm, kas rosina dabas vērošanu un izpēti. Tiek analizētas sekojošas metodes un pieejas - brīvdabas pedagoģija, M.Montesori pieeja un 5E mācību modelis. Analizēta pašreizējā vērtēšanas kārtība, prasmju snieguma līmeņi, standarta sasniedzamie rezultāti par 2.klases dabaszinību tematu “Kas ir laikapstākļi, kā tie mainās?’ Analīzes mērķis, izvēlēties piemērotāko mācību metodi dabas vērošanai un pētīšanai, un izveidot pēc iespējas objektīvu zināšanu snieguma līmeņa aprakstu, lai pārbaudītu standartā noteiktās zināšanas un prasmes. Empīriskā daļā tiek izraudzīts un pedagoģiskā izmēģinājumdarbībā pārbaudīts 5E mācību modelis. Apkopoti secinājumi par piemērotākām mācību metodēm dabas novērošanai un pētīšanai. Veikta skolēnu zināšanu analīze pēc izstrādātiem prasmju snieguma līmeņu aprakstiem. Pielikumos piemēri, pedagogiem ar izstrādātu 5E mācību modeļa stundas gaitu, darba lapām un vērtēšanu.

The author of the bachelor thesis - Ieva Veismane-Paķe. Title of work: “Learning nature observation and research skills in the 2nd grade topic "What is the weather and how does it change?" The thesis advances and assesses a hypothesis that explores the impact of a teaching method incorporating independent research and analysis within the learning process. It aims to determine whether employing this instructional approach leads to the optimal development of observation and research skills. The bachelor's thesis comprises a theoretical segment where in literature and various sources are scrutinized concerning instructional strategies designed to foster observation and research skills in the context of nature education. The investigation delves into several methodologies and approaches, namely outdoor pedagogy, Maria Montessori's educational philosophy, and the 5E learning model. Additionally, an examination is conducted on the current evaluation procedures, skill proficiency benchmarks, and the attainable standard outcomes pertaining to the second-grade science topic "What is the weather and how does it change?" The primary objective of this analysis is to identify the most suitable teaching method for observing and studying nature. Furthermore, the aim is to formulate an objective portrayal of the performance level of knowledge, testing the comprehension and skills delineated in the established standards. In the practical section, a pedagogical experiment is conducted to assess the effectiveness of the 5E learning model. The findings provide consolidated insights into the most suitable teaching methods for observing and studying nature. An evaluation of students' knowledge is undertaken based on the formulated descriptions of skill performance levels. The appendices include resources for educators, featuring a comprehensive 5E learning model course, accompanying worksheets, and assessment tools.
