Sabiedrības savstarpējā komunikācija par seksistiskiem stereotipiem platformā "TikTok"

Abstract

Bakalaura darba “Sabiedrības savstarpējā komunikācija par seksistiskiem stereotipiem platformā TikTok ” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi ir galvenie seksistiskie stereotipu veidi, kuri tiek izpausti platformas TikTok komentāru sadaļā. Darba teorētisko bāzi veido teorijas par seksismu, stereotipiem, aizspriedumiem, diskrimināciju, dzimuma lomas nozīmi un platformu TikTok. Metodoloģiskajā daļā tiek apskatītas anketēšanas, intervijas un kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes pētījuma metodes. Bakalaura darba empīriskajā daļā ar anketēšanu tika iegūti dati par platformas Tiktok komentāru sadaļā sastopamiem seksistiskiem stereotipiem un platformas lietotāju viedokli par tiem. Intervijas metode tika izmantota, lai izvērtētu, vai un kā platformas TikTok komentāru sadaļā sastopamie dzimumu lomas stereotipi ietekmē intervētās personas. Lai noskaidrotu par kādām seksistisko stereotipu tēmām visbiežāk cilvēki izvēlas komentēt, tika izmantota kontentanalīze. Veicot empīrisko daļu, tika noskaidrots, ka sabiedrības locekļi ir pamanījuši komentārus par seksistiskajiem stereotipiem platformā TikTok un visbiežāk novērotie komentāri ir par dzimuma lomas aizspriedumiem. Tomēr lielāka daļa platformas TikTok patērētāji neatbalsta komentāru sadaļā sastopamos seksistisko stereotipu komentārus. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām: teorētiskā daļa, metodoloģiskā un empīriskā daļa. The Bachelor's work, “Public communication on sexist stereotypes on TikTok,” aims to find out what are the main types of sexist stereotypes, that are being disclosed in the comments section on the platform TikTok. The theoretical base of the work is made of theories about sexism, stereotypes, prejudice, discrimination, the importance of gender role and the platform TikTok. The methodological part examines the methods of the questionnaire, interview and qualitative contentanalysis studies. In the empirical part of the Bachelor's work, the data collected from the questionnaire showcased the sexist stereotypes and user opinions about it of the comment section, on the Tiktok platform. The interview method was used to assess whether and how gender role stereotypes encountered in the comments section of TikTok platform affect those interviewed. Contentanalysis was used to find out which topics of sexist stereotypes people most often choose to comment on. In the empirical part, it was established that society has noticed comments about sexist stereotypes on the platform TikTok and the most common comments were about gender role controversy. However, most TikTok users do not support the comments of sexist stereotypes found in the comments section. The work consists of three parts: theoretical, methodological and empirical.
