Koris kā prakses kopiena: kolektīvās identitātes aspekti Latvijas un Igaunijas gadījumā

Abstract

Darba mērķis ir izzināt koru Sōla un Sireen personisko iesaisti motivējošos faktorus dalībai amatiermākslā, kā arī izprast koru kā prakses kopienu kopīgos aspektus, kas veido un stiprina to kolektīvo identitāti. Darbā tiek apvienota kvalitatīvā metodoloģija – divas intervijas – ar kvantitatīvo – aptauja, kuru aizpildījis 71 respondents. Darbā izmantota salīdzinošā metodoloģija, kas ļauj veidot ieskatu par koru darbības dimensijām Latvijā un Igaunijā un veicināt plašāku izpratni kopienas veidojošiem faktoriem. Balstoties uz E. Vengera atziņām un izzinot kori kā prakses kopienu, tiek noskaidroti galvenie elementi, kas veido dalībnieku motivāciju piekopt tik laikietilpīgu hobiju: tika apskatītas motivācijas, ieguvumi, aktivitātes un citi faktori.

The aim of this thesis is to explore the motivating factors of personal involvement in amateur choirs Sōla and Sireen, to understand the common aspects of choir as a community of practice that shape and strengthen their collective identity. The work combines a qualitative methodology – two interviews – with a quantitative – a survey completed by 71 respondents. The comparative methodology used in the work allows for insight into the dimensions of choir activities in Latvia and Estonia and for a broader understanding of community-building factors. Building on Wenger's insights and exploring the choir as a community of practice, the main elements that shape participants' motivation to practice such a time-consuming hobby are identified: motivations, benefits, activities and other factors are examined.
