Patērētāju uzticēšanās digitālajām valūtām: pieņemšana un uzticēšanās vienādranga un pārrobežu darījumiem

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek pētītas attiecības starp patērētāju uzticēšanos un digitālo valūtu ieviešanu, koncentrējoties uz vienādranga un pārrobežu darījumiem. Uzticība joprojām ir galvenais lietotāju uzvedības faktors, attīstoties digitālajām finanšu sistēmām, jo ​​īpaši izplatītos un parasti nepārraudzītos apstākļos. Pētījuma mērķis ir novērtēt, kā digitālo valūtu pieņemšana ietekmē patērētāju uzticību un vai, ņemot vērā uztvertos draudus, regulatīvo nenoteiktību un tehnoloģiskos ierobežojumus, uzticības līmeņi atšķiras vienādranga vidē un pārrobežu vidē. Šis pētījums koncentrējas uz jaukto metožu pieeju. Kamēr kvantitatīvie dati tika apkopoti, aptaujājot piecdesmit Latvijas iedzīvotājus, kvalitatīvie dati tika apkopoti, intervējot piecus Baltijas reģionā izplatītus uzņēmumu īpašniekus, kuri pieņem kriptovalūtu. Rezultāti liecina, ka, lai gan digitālās valūtas kļūst arvien populārākas – īpaši gados jaunāku, modernu patērētāju vidū – uzticības līmenis ir ļoti atšķirīgs atkarībā no darījuma veida. Lai gan pārrobežu kriptovalūtu darījumi dažkārt tiek uzskatīti ar neuzticību kontroles trūkuma un krāpšanas bažu dēļ, peer-to-peer maksājumi parasti tiek uzskatīti par drošākiem un mazāk kontrolējamiem. Pētījumā secināts, ka pat tad, ja digitālajām valūtām ir skaidras priekšrocības pieejamības un efektivitātes ziņā, vispārēja pieņemšana ir apšaubāma bez apzinātām iniciatīvām patērētāju uzticības palielināšanai.

This thesis explores the relationship between consumer trust and the adoption of digital currencies, with a focus on peer-to-peer and cross-border transactions. Trust is still a major determinant of user behavior as digital financial systems develop, particularly in distributed and generally unmonitored settings. The study intends to assess how acceptance of digital currencies influences consumer trust and whether, considering perceived threats, regulatory uncertainty, and technological constraints, trust levels vary between peer-to-peer and cross-border environments. This research focuses on a mixed-methods approach. While quantitative data was gathered from a survey of fifty Latvian citizens, qualitative data was gathered by means of interviews with five business owners spread around the Baltic region that accept cryptocurrency. The results show that, although digital currencies are becoming more and more popular - especially among younger, modern consumers - trust levels vary greatly depending on the transaction kind. While cross-border crypto transactions are sometimes considered with mistrust due of a lack of control and fraud worries, peer-to-peer payments are generally seen as more safe and under controllable. The study comes to the conclusion that even if digital currencies have clear benefits in terms of accessibility and efficiency, general acceptance is doubtful without deliberate initiatives to increase consumer confidence.
