Latvijas sociālā atbalsta politika remigrantiem.

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Latvijas sociālā atbalsta politika remigrantiem” analizēta sociālā atbalsta pieejamība remigrantiem integrācijas un sociālās nevienlīdzības mazināšanas kontekstā, salīdzinot ar imigrantiem pieejamo atbalstu, raksturota esošā situācija Latvijā un vērtēta starptautiskā pieredze, analizējot citu Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstu pieeju sociālā atbalsta nodrošināšanā migrantiem. Papildus kvalitatīvai datu un teorētiskās literatūras analīzei, autore maģistra darbā analizē respondentu viedokli par šķēršļiem atbalsta pakalpojuma pieejamībā, ko izmanto priekšlikumu izstrādei sociālā atbalsta politikas remigrantiem pilnveidošanai. Maģistra darba pamatteksts izklāstīts 90 lappusēs. Darbs sastāv no ievada, 3 nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem, kā arī papildus – 2 pielikumi, 8 attēli un 12 tabulas. Literatūras sarakstā ir iekļautas 111 vienības.

The master’s thesis “Social Support Policy for Remigrants in Latvia” analyzes the availability of social support for remigrants in the context of integration and the reduction of social inequality, comparing it with the support available to immigrants. It describes the current situation in Latvia and evaluates international experiences by analyzing the approaches of other European Union member states in providing social support to migrants. In addition to qualitative data and theoretical literature analysis, the author examines respondents’ opinions on barriers to accessing support services, which are used to develop proposals for improving social support policies for remigrants. The main text of the master’s thesis comprises 90 pages. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusions, and recommendations, as well as two appendices, eight figures, and twelve tables. The bibliography includes 111 sources.
