Vides, sociālo un pārvaldības (ESG) kritēriju mijiedarbība uz Eiropas uzņēmumu finanšu sniegumu

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Vides, sociālo un pārvaldības (ESG) kritēriju mijiedarbība uz Eiropas uzņēmumu finanšu sniegumu”. Darba aktualitāte balstās pieaugošajā sabiedrības un investoru interešu pieaugumā par ilgtspējīgu uzņēmējdarbību, kā arī ESG faktoru nozīmes izvērtēšanā uzņēmumu finansiālajā stabilitātē un attīstībā Eiropā. Mūsdienu uzņēmējdarbības vidē ESG faktori kļūst par būtisku uzņēmumu vērtības rādītāju, kas ne tikai uzlabo finanšu rezultātus, bet arī stiprina uzticību investoru un sabiedrības acīs. Tēma sniedz iespēju padziļināti izpētīt ESG faktoru ietekmi uz Eiropas uzņēmumu finanšu sniegumu un ilgtspējīgu izaugsmi. Darbs sastāv no trīs nodaļām, kurās tiek analizēti ESG kritēriju teorētiskie aspekti, veikta empīriska analīze par ESG novērtējuma mijiedarbību ar finanšu rādītājiem enerģētikas, tehnoloģiju un telekomunikāciju nozares uzņēmumos Eiropā, kā arī izvērtēta ilgtspējīgu investīciju loma uzņēmumu attīstībā. Darbs ietver gan teorētiskus izklāstus, gan detalizētu datu analīzi, kā arī dažādu esošo pētījumu analīzi ar mērķi izstrādāt priekšlikumus uzņēmumu ESG stratēģiju efektivitātes uzlabošanai un ilgtspējīgas attīstības veicināšanai. Darba pētījuma periods aptver laika posmu no 2020. līdz 2025. gadam. Darbs sastāv no 79 lapām, 17 attēliem, 5 tabulām un 3 pielikumiem. Bachelor’s thesis topic is “Interaction of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Criteria with the Financial Performance of European Companies.” The relevance of the study is grounded in the growing interest of society and investors in sustainable business practices, as well as the evaluation of the significance of ESG factors on the financial stability and development of companies in Europe. In today’s business environment, ESG factors have become a crucial indicator of corporate value, enhancing not only financial results but also strengthening trust among investors and the public. This topic provides an opportunity to conduct an in-depth examination of the impact of ESG factors on the financial performance and sustainable growth of European companies. The thesis consists of three chapters, analyzing the theoretical aspects of ESG criteria, conducting an empirical analysis of the interaction between ESG ratings and financial indicators in the energy, technology, and telecommunications sectors in Europe, and evaluating the role of sustainable investments in corporate development. The study includes both theoretical discussions and detailed data analysis, as well as a review of existing research, with the aim of developing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of corporate ESG strategies and promote sustainable development. The research period covers the years from 2020 to 2025. The thesis comprises 79 pages, 17 pictures, 5 tables, and 3 appendices.
