Alūziju loma Latviešu identitātes konstruēšanā: starpkultūru pētījums caur Agneses Bules mākslas projektu "Latviešu sapnis"

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir "Alūziju loma latviešu identitātes konstruēšanā: starpkultūru pētījums caur Agneses Bules mākslas projektu "Latviešu sapnis"". Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, vai un kā latviešu kultūras alūzijas tiek uztvertas un interpretētas starpkultūru kontekstā, izmantojot mākslas komunikāciju kā pētījuma metodi. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, darbā izmantoti teorētiskie avoti par identitātes konstruēšanu, kultūras komunikāciju un mākslas semiotiku. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās un empīriskās daļas. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkoti identitātes veidošanās aspekti, valodas un starpkultūru attiecības, kā arī mākslas un starpkultūru komunikācijas jēdzieni. Metodoloģiskajā daļā aprakstītas pētījumā izmantotās metodes: Agneses Bules mākslas projekta Latviešu sapnis vizuālā satura un semiotiskā analīze, daļēji strukturētas intervijas un kvazi-eksperiments. Empīriskajā daļā analizēts mākslas projekta saturs, apkopoti interviju rezultāti un izvērtētas respondentu interpretācijas par sešiem vizuālajiem artefaktiem, kas saistīti ar latviešu kultūru. Darba noslēgumā sniegti secinājumi un ieteikumi turpmākiem pētījumiem, kā arī pievienots izmantotās literatūras saraksts.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is " Intercultural Perspectives on Latvian Identity Construction through Allusions in Agnese Bule’s Art Project "Latvian Dream"". The aim of the thesis is to examine whether and how cultural allusions related to Latvian identity are perceived and interpreted in an intercultural context, using art communication as a research method. To achieve this aim, the thesis draws on theoretical sources concerning identity construction, cultural communication, and the semiotics of art. The thesis consists of theoretical, methodological, and empirical parts. The theoretical section explores aspects of identity formation, the relationship between language and intercultural exchange, as well as the concepts of art and intercultural communication. The methodological section describes the research methods applied in the study: visual content and semiotic analysis of Agnese Bule’s art project Latvian Dream, semi-structured interviews, and a quasi-experiment. The empirical part presents an analysis of the project's content, a summary of interview results, and an evaluation of respondents’ interpretations of six visual artefacts related to Latvian culture. The conclusion summarizes the findings and provides recommendations for further research, along with a list of references.
