Tautas deju ansambļa “Vektors” reprezentācija 20. un 21. gadsimta mediju telpā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā analizēta Tautas deju ansambļa “Vektors” reprezentācija 20. un 21. gadsimta mediju telpā, īpašu uzmanību pievēršot tam, kā dažādos laikmetos mediji veidojuši kolektīva publisko tēlu un kā šīs pārmaiņas atspoguļo plašākas latviešu tautas deju sfēras, kultūras, politiskās un sabiedriskās tendences Latvijā. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt Tautas deju ansambļa "Vektors" reprezentāciju mediju telpā 20. un 21. gadsimtā, izvērtējot, kā dažādu laikmetu mediji ir veidojuši ansambļa publisko tēlu un kā šīs pārmaiņas atspoguļo plašākas tendences Latvijas kultūras diskursā un nacionālās identitātes veidošanā. Teorētisko bāzi veido reprezentācijas teorija, semiotika, tēla veidošanas teorijas, ko tautas deju aspektā papildina - deja kā komunikācijas forma. Darbā izmantotas vairākas kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes – diskursa un semiotikas analīzes, kontentanalīze un salīdzinošā analīze. Empīriskajā daļā analizēti Latvijas Nacionālās digitālās bibliotēkas Periodika.lv materiāli, vizuālie materiāli no Latvijas Valsts kinofotofonodokumentu arhīva, Latvijas Televīzijas arhīva materiāli un platformas YouTube pieejamie video materiāli. Rezultāti apliecina, ka 20. gadsimtā “Vektors” tika attēlots kā padomju ideoloģijai atbilstošs kolektīvs, kas pārstāvēja nacionālo kultūru propagandas ietvarā. Savukārt 21. gadsimtā tas veidojas kā profesionāls un radošs kolektīvs ar personalizētu tēlu. Mediju attīstība ļāvusi pašam ansamblim aktīvi piedalīties sava tēla veidošanā, apliecinot “Vektora” nozīmību laikmetīgā ansambļa tēla veidošanā Latvijas identitātes kontekstā.

The bachelor's thesis analyses the representation of the Folk Dance Ensemble "Vektors" in the media space of the 20th and 21st centuries, paying special attention to how the media have shaped the collective's public image in different eras and how these changes reflect broader Latvian folk dance spheres, culture, political and social trends in Latvia. The study aims to analyse the representation of the Folk Dance Ensemble "Vektors" in the media space of the 20th and 21st centuries, evaluating how the media of different eras have shaped the ensemble's public image and how these changes reflect broader trends in Latvian cultural discourse and the formation of national identity. The theoretical basis is formed by the theories of representation, semiotics, and image formation, which, in the context of folk dance, are supplemented by dance as a form of communication. In the research, several qualitative research methods are used, for example, discourse and semiotic analysis, content analysis and comparative analysis. The empirical part analyses materials from the Latvian National Digital Library Periodika.lv, visual materials from the Latvian State Archive of Cinematographic and Photographic Documents, the Latvian Television Archive, and video materials available on the YouTube platform. The results confirm that in the 20th century, “Vektors” was portrayed as a collective that corresponded to Soviet ideology, representing national culture within the framework of propaganda. In turn, in the 21st century, it is developing as a professional and creative collective with a personalized image. The development of the media has enabled the ensemble itself, to actively participate in shaping its image, underscoring the importance of “Vektors” in creating the image of a contemporary ensemble within the context of Latvian identity.
