Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir attiecināšanas problēma mūsdienu konfliktos: NATO un Krievijas gadījums. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt attiecināšanas problemātiku no rietumvalstu perspektīvas. Darba teorētisko ietvaru sastāda pelēkās zonas karadarbības, reālism un konstruktīvisma teorētiķu atziņas. Izmantojot vairāku gadījumu analīzi, pētījumā tiek meklēta atbilde uz jautājumu - Kā attiecināšanas problēma ietekmē NATO un ES kolektīvo drošību ? Pētījumā analizētie gadījumi – “Ukrainas un Krievijas 2014.gada konflikts”, “Nord Stream 1 un 2 gāzes vadu sabotāža” un “Krievijas ēnu flotes aktivitātes Baltijas jūrā 2022-2024.gadam”

The topic of the master's thesis is the problem of attribution in modern conflicts: the case of NATO and Russia. The aim of the thesis is to study the problem of attribution from the perspective of Western countries. The theoretical framework of the thesis is made up of the insights of the theorists of gray zone warfare, realism and constructivism. Using the analysis of several cases, the study seeks an answer to the question - How does the problem of attribution affect the collective security of NATO and the EU? The cases analyzed in the study are “The 2014 Ukrainian-Russian conflict”, “Sabotage of the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines” and “The activities of the Russian shadow fleet in the Baltic Sea in 2022-2024”
