Augmentatīvās un alternatīvās komunikācijas metodes saziņas veicināšanai sākumskolā skolēniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem

Abstract

Maģistra daba tēma ir “Augmentatīvās un alternatīvās komunikācijas metodes saziņas veicināšanai sākumskolā skolēniem ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem”. Darba autore: Norgita Ņikonova, darba vadītāja: Sarmīte Tūbele. Pieaugot neverbālu skolēnu ar autiskā spektra traucējumiem (turpmāk – AST) skaitam, aktuāla kļūst augmentatīvās un alternatīvās komunikācijas (turpmāk – AAK) metožu pieejamība un izmantošana sākumskolās, lai nodrošinātu šiem bērniem iespējas pilnvērtīgi piedalīties mācību procesā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt AAK teorētisko bāzi un analizēt komunikācijas prasmju attīstīšanu neverbāliem skolēniem ar AST sākumskolā, izmantojot AAK metodes. Pētījumā izmantots jaukta tipa pētījuma dizains, izmantojot anketēšanu un eksperta intervijas metodes. Dati tika analizēti kvantitatīvi un kvalitatīvi, izmantojot salīdzinošo analīzi, kontentanalīzi, kā arī aprakstošās un secinošās statistikas metodes. Izstrādāti secinājumi un ieteikumi. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka AAK efektīvi attīsta skolēnu ar AST komunikācijas prasmes un veicina viņu iesaisti izglītībā un sabiedrībā. Efektīvai AAK metožu ieviešanai izglītības vidē nepieciešama sistemātiska pedagogu profesionālās kompetences stiprināšana, vienotu vadlīniju un metodoloģijas izstrāde, kā arī digitāla platforma, kas nodrošina atbalstu gan pedagogiem, gan vecākiem. Darba apjoms ir 77 lpp. Darbā iekļautas 14 tabulas un 6 attēli, 9 pielikumi, 102 bibliogrāfijas vienības.

The topic of the Master's thesis is “Augmentative and Alternative Communication Methods to Enhance Communication in Primary School for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.” Author of the work: Norgita Ņikonova, Supervisor: Sarmīte Tūbele. With the increasing number of nonverbal students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (hereinafter – ASD), the availability and use of augmentative and alternative communication (hereinafter – AAC) methods in primary schools becomes a pressing issue to ensure these children have opportunities to fully participate in the learning process. The aim of the study is to examine the theoretical basis of AAC and to analyze the development of communication skills in nonverbal primary school students with ASD using AAC methods. This study used a mixed methods research design, utilizing questionnaires and expert interviews. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, using comparative analysis, content analysis, as well as descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Conclusions and recommendations were developed. The study found that AAC effectively develops communication skills of students with ASD and promotes their participation in education and society. For effective implementation of AAC methods in the educational environment, systematic strengthening of teachers' professional competence, development of unified guidelines and methodology, as well as a digital platform providing support to both teachers and parents, are necessary. The length of the thesis is 77 pages. The thesis includes 14 tables and 6 figures, 9 appendices, and 102 bibliography entries.
