Sākumskolas skolotāju profesionālās pilnveides programmas izstrāde un aprobācija izglītojošā robota Ozobot izmantošanas apguvei

Abstract

Neraugoties uz digitalizācijas straujo attīstību, pedagogiem Latvijā joprojām ir izaicinājums jēgpilni integrēt tehnoloģijas izglītībā. To ietekmē gan pedagogu attieksme, gan nepietiekams profesionālās pilnveides piedāvājums, tādēļ maģistra darbam tika izvirzīts mērķis – izpētīt, kā mērķtiecīgi izstrādāta skolotāju profesionālās pilnveides programma sekmē izglītojošā robota Ozobot izmantošanas apguvi. Darbs sastāv no ievada, četrām nodaļām un nobeiguma. Pirmajās divās nodaļās analizēta pieaugušo izglītība, tajā skaitā profesionālā pilnveide, tehnoloģiju pieņemšanas modelis (TAM), kā arī izglītojošās robotikas (IR) un izglītojošā robota Ozobot nozīme sākumskolā. Trešajā un ceturtajā nodaļā aprakstīta darba empīriskā daļa – pedagogu aptaujas rezultātu analīze, esošā profesionālās pilnveides piedāvājuma izpēte un normatīvo dokumentu analīze, kā arī aprakstīta profesionālās pilnveides programmas izstrāde un aprobācija. Piedāvātā profesionālās pilnveides programma sekmē Ozobot apguvi, līdzsvarojot teoriju un praksi, piedāvājot pielāgotas aktivitātes un atbalstu. Pētījumam tika izvēlēts darbības pētījuma dizains un izmantotas jauktas pētījuma metodes – sistēmiskā literatūras analīze, sistēmisks literatūras pārskats, aptauja, strukturēts novērojums, normatīvo dokumentu analīze, korelācijas analīze un aprakstošā statistika.

Despite the rapid digitalization, teachers in Latvia still face challenges to meaningfully integrate technologies into education. This is influenced by both teachers’ attitudes and the insufficient availability of professional development opportunities. Therefore, the aim of the master’s thesis “Design and Validation of a Professional Development Program for Primary School Teachers for the Use of the Educational Robot Ozobot” was to explore how a purposefully designed teacher professional development programme can support the acquisition of skills needed to use the educational robot Ozobot. The thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion. The first two chapters analyse adult education, including professional development, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), as well as the role of educational robotics and the Ozobot educational robot in primary education. The third and fourth chapters describe the empirical part of the research – an analysis of survey results from teachers, an exploration of the existing professional development offer and relevant regulatory documents, as well as the development and validation of a professional development programme. The proposed programme facilitates the acquisition of Ozobot use by balancing theory and practice, offering tailored activities and support. The research employed an action research design and applied mixed research methods – a systematic literature analysis, a systematic literature review, a survey, structured observation, analysis of regulatory documents, correlation analysis, and descriptive statistics.
