Brīvās lasīšanas metode lasītprasmes veicināšanai

Abstract

Diplomdarbā “Brīvās lasīšanas metode lasītprasmes veicināšanai” pētīta skolēnu lasītprasmes nozīme un piedāvāta brīvās lasīšanas metode kā efektīva pieeja lasīšanas ieradumu un lasītprasmes attīstīšanai. Diplomdarbā tiek analizēti teorētiskie aspekti par lasīšanas nozīmīgumu, lasīšanas motivācijas veicināšanu un skolotāja lomu pozitīvas un atbalstošas lasīšanas vides veidošanā. Diplomdarba mērķis ir izpētīt brīvās lasīšanas metodes izmantojumu pamatskolā un izstrādāt praktiskus ieteikumus tās integrēšanai mācību procesā, lai veicinātu skolēnu lasītprasmi un interesi par lasīšanu. Darbs veidots no divām daļām. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīta lasīšanas nozīme un brīvās lasīšanas metodes teorētiskie pamati, uzsverot skolotāja lomu skolēna lasītāja identitātes veidošanā un izvēles brīvības ietekmi uz lasīšanas motivāciju kā arī starptautiskā pieredze, izmantojot šo metodi. Praktiskajā daļā tiek aplūkoti pētījuma rezultāti, kā brīvā lasīšana ir mainījusi skolēnu attieksmi pret lasīšanu, sniedzot ieskatu šīs metodes ietekmē uz skolēnu motivāciju un lasītprasmes uzlabošanu, kā arī piedāvāti ieteikumi un paņēmieni, kā šo metodi sasaistīt ar latviešu valodas mācību saturu.

The diploma thesis “The Free Reading Method for Promoting Literacy” explores the importance of students' reading literacy and presents the free reading method as an effective approach to developing reading habits and literacy skills. The thesis analyzes theoretical aspects related to the significance of reading, fostering reading motivation, and the teacher's role in creating a positive and supportive reading environment. The aim of the thesis is to explore the application of the free reading method in primary school and to develop practical recommendations for its integration into the educational process to enhance students' reading literacy and interest in reading. The thesis consists of two parts. The theoretical part examines the importance of reading and the theoretical foundations of the free reading method, emphasizing the teacher's role in shaping students' reader identity and the impact of choice freedom on reading motivation, as well as international experiences with this method. The practical part presents the research findings on how free reading has influenced students' attitudes towards reading, providing insights into the method's impact on students' motivation and reading literacy improvement, and offers suggestions and techniques for linking the method with the Latvian language curriculum.
