Steganogrāfijas pievienošana AV1 kodeku bibliotēkai

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā pētīta slēptas informācijas ievietošanas iespēja AV1 video formātā, turpinot kursa darbā aizsāktos pētījumus. Izstrādāta praktiska sistēma, kas manipulē ar I-kadru izvietojumu, nemainot vizuālo saturu. Tika izveidota AOMedia AV1 kodeka modifikācija un vadības programma, kas izmanto FFmpeg un libaom bibliotēkas. Rezultāti apliecina iespēju izveidot trauslu steganogrāfijas mehānismu, kas nav noturīgs pēc atkārtotas pārkodēšanas.

The bachelor’s thesis explores the possibility of embedding hidden information in AV1 video format, continuing research started in a previous coursework project. A practical system was developed that manipulates the placement of I-frames without altering the visual content. A patch for the AOMedia AV1 codec and a control program using the FFmpeg and libaom libraries were created. The solution enables video re-encoding with a hidden message and includes usage instructions for the Windows environment. The results confirm the feasibility of a fragile steganographic mechanism that does not survive further re-encoding.
