Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Personas, kura jaunāka par 16 gadu vecumu tiesības izvēlēties pārtraukt grūtniecību” aplūkotas personas, kas jaunāka par 16 gadiem, tiesības izvēlēties pārtraukt grūtniecību un to ietekme uz personas tiesībām uz privāto dzīvi. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, vai pastāvošais tiesiskais regulējums pietiekami aizsargā nepilngadīgās personas ķermeņa autonomiju, attiecīgi vai tas ir saskaņā ar personas tiesību uz privāto dzīvi aizsardzību. Darbā formulēti priekšlikumi normatīvā regulējuma pilnveidošanai, uzsverot nepieciešamību līdzsvarot grūtniecības pārtraukšanas regulējumu ar informētās piekrišanas sniegšanas regulējumu.

The bachelor thesis “The right of a person under the age of 16 to choose to terminate a pregnancy” deals with the right of a person under the age of 16 to choose to terminate a pregnancy and its impact on the right to privacy. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the existing legal framework sufficiently protects the bodily autonomy of minors and, consequently, whether it is in line with the protection of the right to privacy. The thesis formulates proposals for the improvement of the legal framework, emphasising the need to balance the regulation of termination of pregnancy with the regulation of informed consent.
