Vardarbība ğimenē: izpratne un problemātika

Abstract

Katru gadu apmēram 1.6 miljoni cilvēku mirst no vardarbības. Bez tiem vēl liela daļa cietušo dzīves garumā tiek ievainoti un cieš no dažādām fiziskām, seksuālām, reproduktīvās un garīgās veselības problēmām. Vardarbība uzliek smagu slogu valstu ekonomikām veselības aprūpes un tiesībaizsardzības jomās. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izanalizēt problēmas aktualitāti, pievēršot uzmanību cēloņsakarībai starp sabiedrībā valdošiem uzskatiem un tiesību normās ietverto regulējumu. Izpētīt vardarbības ģimenē novēršanas tiesisko regulējumu, identificēt ar šo tēmu saistītās problēmas. Darbā tiek izvērtēts gan starptautiskajos dokumentos esošais, gan nacionālo tiesību normās ietvertais regulējums attiecībā uz “vardarbības” un “vardarbības ģimenē” jēdziena definējumu un interpretāciju atkarībā no apstākļiem. Tiek sniegta kā teorētiska analīze, tā arī praktiski risinājumu vardarbības novēršanai un apkarošanai. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 47 lapaspusēm un 54 informācijas avotiem. Every year, around 1.6 million people die from violence. In addition to these, a large proportion of victims are injured throughout their lives and suffer from various physical, sexual, reproductive and mental health problems. Violence places a heavy burden on national economies in the areas of health and law enforcement. The aim of this thesis is to analyse the urgency of the problem by focusing on the causal link between societal attitudes and the legal framework. To study the legal framework for the prevention of domestic violence, to identify the problems related to this topic. The work assesses both the international instruments and the national legal framework with regard to the definition and interpretation of the concept of “violence” and “domestic violence”, depending on the circumstances. Theoretical analysis is provided as well as practical solutions to prevent and combat violence. The thesis consists of 47 pages and 54 sources of information.
