| dc.description.abstract | Maģistra darbā „Latviešu blogi: autori, saturs, auditorija” noteikti latviešu blogu attīstības raksturojumi. Izmantojot strukturēto interviju - anketu metodi aptaujāti 89 blogu autori un 192 blogu lasītāji, noskaidrojot latviešu blogeru un latviešu blogu lasītāju profilus. Balstoties uz lietojumu un apmierinājumu pieeju, noteiktas blogu veidošanas un blogu lasīšanas vajadzības. Ar semantiskā diferenciāļa skalas metodi noskaidrota latviešu blogu auditorijas attieksme pret blogiem. Izmantojot kontentanalīzi, iegūts latviešu blogu satura veidu, tematikas, avotu un ierakstu formas raksturojums.

| dc.description.abstract | In master piece „Latvian blogs: authors, content and audience” has defined characteristics of latvian blogs. By using method of structured interviews – questionnaire 89 blog authors and 192 blog readers were interviewed, which helped to obtain the information about the profile of latvian blogger and the profile of the audience of those blogs. What kind of needs bloggers and readers want to satisfy by creating their own blog or by reading blogs was explored based on uses and gratification approach. The method of semantic differential measures was used to evaluate blog reader’s attitude towards blogs they use. But the content analyses of the blogs helped to investigate the characteristics of blog content, themes, sources and the types of blog items.
