Abstract

Diplomdarba temats ir sociālā darba profesijas ietekme uz sociālā darbinieka raksturu. Diplomdarba mērķis ir pētīt izmaiņas sociālā darbinieka raksturā sociālā darba ietekmē. Diplomdarbs strukturēts četrās nodaļās. Pirmajās trijās nodaļās tiek aprakstīts, kas ir raksturs, raksturu ietekmējošie faktori un sociālajam darbiniekam nepieciešamās rakstura īpašības. Ceturtā nodaļa ir empīriskā pētījuma metodoloģija un veikto interviju analīze, kas ietverta četrās apakšnodaļās. Diplomdarbā autores pētīja psiholoģijas, socioloģijas un sociālā darba jomu praktiķu un teorētiķu izveidotos materiālus par rakstura izmaiņām cilvēka dzīves laikā, darba vides un vietas ietekmi uz cilvēka raksturu, kā arī teorijā aprakstītās sociālajam darbiniekam nepieciešamās rakstura īpašības. Diplomdarba empīriskajā daļā darba autores veica padziļinātās, daļēji strukturētās intervijas, intervējot divpadsmit sociālā darba profesionāļus, kuri bija sadalīti trīs grupās pēc pieredzes un darba stāža diferenciācijas sociālā darba jomā.

The theme of this diploma work is to investigate the influence of the social work profession on a social worker’s personality traits and characteristics. The goal of the degree work is to understand the changes in social worker personality traits, as influenced by professional work experience. The degree work consists of four chapters. The first three chapters describe personality factors that affect character, and personal qualities and features that social workers should possess to be successful. There is a methodology and analysis of the empirical research in the fourth chapter, which contains four subchapters. Within the framework of the degree work, the authors investigated materials created by practitioners and theoreticians of psychology, sociology and social work, and the changes in a person’s character during his or her life. The authors investigated the influence of the workplace and environment on a person’s character, as well as the theoretically described character features necessary for a social worker. In the empirical part of the work, the authors conducted advanced, partially structured interviews with twelve social work professionals.
