Tā notiek trijos līmeņos – multifokusētā/duālfokusētā kopienas naratīva ietvaros iespējams identificēt mazāka apjoma duālfokusētus subnaratīvus un monofokusētus mikronaratīvus, no kuru struktūrām tieši atkarīga spēlētāju līdzdalības pakāpe. The bachelor thesis focuses on collective narrative construction in a virtual role-playing community. By using approaches of nethnography and grounded theory and participant observation as method, a community in virtual world Second Life was observed, focusing on three cathegories: actors, tools of construction and content and structure of the collective narrative as a result of the process.
In construction of collective narrative administration of community is involved as content producers, while players consume it or takes part in producing content for already ongoing narratives. Three levels of narrative can be distinguished – multifocused/dualfocused collective narrative is constituted by dualfocused subnarratives and monofocused micronarratives, structures of which affects the level of player participation directly.
