Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Reģionālā medija – Radio 1 zīmola identitāte un tēls”. Darba mērķis ir veikt „Radio 1” zīmola identitātes analīzi, noskaidrot uzņēmuma darbinieku zināšanu līmeni par zīmola vērtībām, kā arī izpētīt, kā zīmols tiek uztverts mērķa auditorijā, un pamatojoties uz iegūto informāciju, izdarīt secinājumus par zīmola identitātes komunicēšanas problēmām un sniegt priekšlikumus komunikācijas procesa uzlabošanai.
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no 5 ( piecām) nodaļām.
Pirmā nodaļa aplūko masu mediju lomu un funkcijas sabiedrībā, radio kā masu medija īpatnības un lomu mūsdienu sabiedrībā, savukārt otrajā darba nodaļā aplūkots zīmola teorētiskais jēdziens, aprakstīti tā veidi un funkcijas. Trešajā darba daļā apskatīti zīmola identitāti veidojošie elementi, par pamatu ņemot Žana Noela Kepferara izstrādāto zīmola identitātes prizmu, kā arī tiek apskatīts radio zīmols un tā identitāti veidojošie elementi, apskatīti zīmola tēla un zīmola pozicionēšanas teorētiskie koncepti. Tālāk sniegts pētījuma metožu apraksts par kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodi – interviju un kvantitatīvās metodes – aptauju. Piektajā jeb darba empīriskajā daļā ir analizēti pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti, izdarīti secinājumi.
Pētījuma hipotēze ietver apgalvojumu, ka reģionālā medija „Radio 1” veidotā zīmola identitāte un tēls mērķa auditorijā atšķiras. Pēc pētījuma rezultātiem var secināt, ka bakalaura darba uzdevumi un mērķis ir sasniegti, izvirzītā hipotēze apstiprinājusies daļēji.

The aim of the paper is to analyse the brand identity of “Radio 1”, examine the level of knowledge about brand values of the employees of the company, research the brand perception by the target audience and, based on the information obtained, draw conclusions of the brand identity communication problems and give proposals for improvement of the communication process.
The bachelor paper consists of 5 (five) chapters.
Chapter One deals with the role and social functions of mass media, characteristics of radio as a means of mass media and its role in modern society. Chapter Two describes the theoretical concept, types and functions of brand. Chapter Three examines the elements comprising the brand identity according to the brand identity prism by Jean-Noël Kapferer, the radio brand and its components and the theoretical concepts of brand image and brand positioning. This is followed by description of research methods: qualitative research method (interview) and quantitative research method (survey). Chapter Five, the empiric part, analyses the results of the research and draws conclusions.
The hypothesis of the research includes the statement that the brand identity of the regional media “Radio 1” as perceived by the target audience differs from the brand image. According to the results of the research, the aim and tasks of the bachelor paper have been achieved and the hypothesis is partially confirmed.
