Klīniskās pastorālās izglītības kursa dalībnieku pieredze Latvijā - kvalitatīvs pētījums

Abstract

Maģistra darba nosaukums ir “Klīniskās pastorālās izglītības kursa dalībnieku pieredze Latvijā – kvalitatīvs pētījums.” Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Pirmajā daļā tiek izpētītas klīniskās pastorālās izglītības (CPE) kustības teorētiskās un praktiskās nostādnes. Otrajā – tiek veikts kvalitatīvs pētījums, kura pamatā ir intervijas ar četriem CPE kursa dalībniekiem, kuri beiguši slimnīcas praksē bāzētu klīniskās pastorālās apmācības kursu Latvijā. Izmantojot interpretatīvi fenomeno-loģiskās analīzes (IPA) metodi, pētījumā tiek izpētīta un izanalizēta dalībnieku pieredze un tas, kādu nozīmi dalībnieki tai piešķir teoloģiskās izglītības kontekstā. Pētījuma noslēgumā tiek apkopoti secinājumi par darba teorētiskās daļas atziņām, pētījuma rezultātiem kā arī izteikti priekšlikumi klīniskās pastorālās izglītības kursa iekļaušanai teoloģisko studiju programmās kā integratīvai tās daļai. Pētījums atklāj arī CPE kursa Latvijā stiprās un vājās puses kā arī apskata pētījuma metodes derīgumu un piemērotību pētījumiem praktiskajā teoloģijā.

The title of the thesis is “The Experience of the Participants of Clinical Pastoral Education Course in Latvia – A Qualitative Study.” My thesis is divided into two parts. In the first part I explore the theoretical and practical underpinnings of the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Movement. In the second part I have carried out a qualitative research based on interview materials of four participants who had completed hospital-based clinical pastoral training programme in Latvia. I have explored and analysed their educational experience and the meaning the participants attribute to that experience using interpretative phenomenological analyses (IPA) as my research method. Research is concluded by summary of findings of the theoretical part, results of the study as well as proposals regarding incorporation of clinical pastoral training as integrative part of theological education programms. The research project also reveals strenghts and weaknesses of the existing clinical pastoral training programme in Latvia as well as discusses the adequacy and convenience of the chosen qualitative research method in practical theology.
