Kā jau ikvienai lietai ir sava pozitīvā un negatīvā puse, arī internets sev līdzi nes negatīvo pusi. Tā kā tiek par konstitucionālu pamattiesību atzīta vārda brīvība, ikviena persona var brīvi paust savus uzskatus globālajā tīmeklī.
Diemžēl nākas saskarties ar cilvēku ļaunprātību, kas robežojas ar personas goda un cieņas aizskārumu. Šis ir tikai viens no iemesliem, kādēļ būtu nepieciešamība pēc specifiska regulējuma tieši saistībā ar interneta vidē veiktajiem kibernoziegumiem. For the reason that every thing has its positive and negative side, as well as internet has its negative side. Since the freedom of speech has been established as constitutional basis, every person may freely express their opinions and principles in the World Wide Web.
Unfortunately we have to face with malice which borders with encroachment of person’s honour and dignity. However this is only one of the reasons why there is a necessity for specific regulation in relation to cybercrime committed in the internet.
