The theme for my bachelor’s degree paper is „The restrictions of the capacity to contract of adults and its legal consequences”. Seeing as how the capacity to contract can only be taken away or limited in certain instances of the law, the author of this paper is researching the concept of the capacity to contract, the goals of restricting the capacity to contract and the legal consequences in case the capacity to contract is taken away from an adult. The concept of trusteeship and the causes and consequences of establishing a trusteeship are also researched.
The first chapter focuses on the concept of the capacity to contract and its subjects. The second chapter is dedicated to the goals and causes of the restriction of the capacity to contract of adults, and the legal consequences of these restrictions, but the third chapter looks at the concept of trusteeship and the legal consequences of establishing a trusteeship with a person unable to contract.
