Autors izvēlējās tematu „Izlīgums kā konfliktu risināšanas veids kriminālprocesā”, jo uzskata, ka izlīgums kā alternatīvā konfliktu risināšanas metode ir dažreiz efektīvāka nekā citas metodes. Ne vienmēr var panākt taisnīgu krimināltiesisko attiecību noregulējumu, neiesaistot puses sarunas procesā.
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, trim galvenajām nodaļām, kopsavilkuma un diviem pielikumiem. Ievadā izklāstīta izvēlētā temata aktualitāte, noteikts darba mērķis un uzdevumi. Pirmajā nodaļā aprakstīta izlīguma kā kriminālprocesa institūta rašanas vēsture un attīstība. Otrajā nodaļā bakalaura darba autors apraksta izlīguma procesuālās īpatnības. Trešā nodaļa veltīta izlīgumā iesaistīto pušu raksturojumam.
Autors cenšas analizēt izlīgumu kā kriminālprocesuālo institūtu, atspoguļo savu viedokli par normatīvo regulējumu, piedāvā savus padomus iespējamai regulējuma uzlabošanai. The author chose the the topic "Reconcilation as a method of conflict solving during the Criminal Process", because the author believe that mediation as an alternative dispute resolution method sometimes is more effective than other methods. It may not always to reach a fair settlement of criminal legal relations without involving parties in the talking process.
The baccalaureate paper consists of an introduction, three main chapters, summary and two attachments. In the introduction are weitten about the selected topic actuality, work goals and objectives. The first chapter describes the settlement as a criminal background to the institution and development. In the second chapter the author describes reconciliation procedural characteristics. The third chapter is devoted to the settlement of the parties characteristics.
The author tries to analyze the reconcilation as a criminal justice institution to reflect views on the the Criminal law, offering advices to the possible improvement.
