Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma "Dokumentu viltošana" mūsdienās ir ļoti aktuāla - pēdējā laikā strauja zinātniski tehniska progresa apstākļos nepārtraukti parādās jauni un advancētāki paņēmieni, kā viltot un arī laist apgrozījumā viltotus dokumentus.Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un izanalizēt Krimināllikuma normas, kas attiecas uz dokumentu viltošanu, iegūt teorētiskas zināšanas par dokumentu viltošanas veidiem, kā arī noskaidrot iespējamos pasākumus, kas varētu būt vērsti uz noziedzīgo nodarījumu dokumentu aprites jomā apkarošanu un izskatīt, kādas izmaiņas, iespējams, būtu lietderīgi veikt Krimināllikumā, vadoties no vēsturiskās pieredzes, tiesu prakses un citu valstu piemēriem.

The subject of the thesis “Falsification of documents” is a very actual theme nowadays – recent scientific and technological progress lead to an increase in the number of cases of document falsification, thus, necessity to combat this criminal act is obvious. This paper will address the following issues: what is a document in general and its falsification in particular, what kinds of falsified documents exist, the analysis of regulations that are providing responsibility for falsification of documents, comparison of the existing regulations in the Republic of Latvia with the existing regulations in other countries, and the historical aspect of falsification of documents. The purpose of the paper is to investigate and analyze the regulations of Criminal Law, which are related to falsification of documents, to obtain theoretical knowledge of forgery, to investigate what measures should be taken in order to limit the number of crimes related to falsification of documents, and to consider what changes are probably necessary in Criminal Law in order to improve the regulation of this particular issue, based on the historical experience, jurisprudence and examples from the other states.
