Interneta pakalpojumu sniedzēja atbildība par lietotāju izdarītajiem autortiesību pārkāpumiem interneta vidē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs veltīts interneta pakalpojumu sniedzēja atbildībai par lietotāju autortiesību pārkāpumiem interneta vidē. Pētījuma mērķis ir apskatīt interneta pakalpojumu sniedzēja atbildību, kā vienu no metodēm cīņā ar autortiesību pārkāpējiem internetā, tās efektivitāti, ar piemērošanu saistītajām problēmām un iespējamajiem risinājumiem. Darba gaitā tiek apskatītas zinātniskās publikācijas un interneta vietnēs publicētā informācija, starptautiskie un nacionālie tiesību akti, kā arī dažādu valstu tiesu prakse. Pētījuma rezultātā tiek norādīts uz problēmām, izdarīti secinājumi par interneta pakalpojumu sniedzēju atbildības piemērošanu Latvijas tiesību sistēmā, kā arī izteikti priekšlikumi efektīvākai autortiesību aizsardzībai internetā. Darba apjoms – 54 lpp.

The Bachelor’s theses are devoted to the liability of Internet service provider for the copyright infringement of its customers on the Internet The goal of the research is to examine the liability of Internet service provider as one of the possible methods when dealing with copyright infringers on the Internet, efficiency of this method, as well as problems related to the application of the liability and possible solutions. During the research, scientific publications, information published on the Internet, international and national legislative acts, as well as various national jurisprudences were employed. The research results into indicating problems, drawing conclusions towards liability of Internet service providers within the context of Latvia legal system, as well as proposing ideas for more efficient enforcement of copyright on the Internet. The thesis consists of 54 pages.
