The purpose of the first research was to analyze theoretically and test empirically connection between organizational culture, organizational commitment and occupational commitment.
There are one questions answered in the research: is there statistically significant interconnection between four organizational culture types and three dimensions of organizational commitment and occupational commitment.
There were 100 organization's employees in education field, who took a part in this research- 85 women and 15 men, most of them in age 25-34.
Methods like "Organizational culture assessment instrument", (Cameron & Quinn, (2001), was adapted by (Kamerāde, 2002), "Organizational commitment Questionnaire" (Meyer & Allen, 1990), adapted by (Pāvuls, 2003) and "Occupational commitment Questionnaire", (Meyer, Allen & Smith, 1993), adapted by (Boroduška, 2002), used before and adapted in Latvia, had been used to answer the questions of both researches.
To calculate results for the first research there were used the Pierson's correlation coefficient.
By analyzing the results of the first research it is possible to conclude that:
There do not exist statistically important correlation among four organization culture types and three three dimensions of organizational commitment and occupational commitment.
Concluded that:
1) There does not exist relation among cached organizational culture, organizational commitment and occupational commitment in the first research.
2) As the conclusion of first research shows that there is no relation among cached organizational culture and organizational commitment and occupational commitment, the research was continued by second research with the aim to analyze theoretically and to check empiricaly the relation among organization culture, organizational commitment and occupational commitment.
Therefore, one more researh was made to continue theoretical analysis and empirical verification to worm out connection between organizational culture, organizational commitment, and occupational commitment.
Two questins raised in the second research: the first, is there any statistically significant interconnection between four organizational culture types and affective organizational commitment, and affective occupational commitment dimensions; the second, is there any statistically significant interconnection in ideal evaluation between four organizational culture types and affective organizational commitment and affective occupational commitment dimensions.
There were 200 organization's employees from five different finance public institutions, who took a part in this research. 152 of them were women and 48 men. Most of the respondents are 25-34 years old.
To calculate results for the second research there were used the Pierson's correlation coefficient.
After analyzing the results of the second research the conclusion is that:
1) There is statistically important positive correlation among market culture and affective occupational commitment as well as there is statistically positive correlation among hierarchical culture and affective occupational commitment.
2) There is no statistically important correlation among clan culture, adhocratic culture, market culture, hierarchical culture and affective organizational commitment; also there is no statistically important correlation among clan culture, adhocratic culture and affective occupational commitment.
3) There is statistically negative correlation between adhocratical culture in ideal evaluation and affective organizational commitment.
4) There is no statistically important correlation among clan culture in ideal evaluation, market culture in ideal evaluation, hierachical culture in ideal evaluation and affective organizational commitment.
5) There is statistically important negative corelation between adhocratical culture in ideal evaluation and affective occupational commitment.
6) There is no statistically important co
