Pusaudžu ar dzirdes traucējumiem integrācija sabiedrībā sekmēšana.

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir “ Pusaudžu ar dzirdes traucējumiem integrācijas sabiedrībā sekmēšana”. Latvijā nav precīzas statistikas, cik bērniem valstī ir funkcionāli traucējumi, kā arī cik no tiem ir bērni ar dzirdes traucējumiem. Latvijā oficiāli reģistrēti apmēram 2000 pilnībā nedzirdīgu cilvēku un ap 30 000 cilvēku ir dzirdes traucējumi. Ik gadu apmēram 150 bērniem tiek diagnosticēti dzirdes traucējumi. Nav pilnīgas informācijas, kādas ir šo grupu proporcionālās attiecības mācību iestādēs, kurās izglītību iegūst nedzirdīgie — netiešs apliecinājums tam, ka Latvijā šajā jomā joprojām trūkst pētījumu. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt integrācijas sabiedrībā iespējas pusaudžiem ar dzirdes traucējumiem. Darba teorētiskajā daļā ir analizēta literatūra par integrācijas jēdzienu un procesa būtību, par dzirdes traucējumu rašanās cēloņiem un klasifikāciju, par pusaudžu ar dzirdes traucējumiem raksturojumu, kā arī apskatīts pusaudžu ar dzirdes traucējumiem integrācijas iespējas sabiedrībā. Ir veikts pētījums Rīgas nedzirdīgo bērnu internātskolā, iegūtie rezultāti analizēti un sniegti priekšlikumi. Atslēgvārdi: dzirde, dzirdes traucējumi, iekļaujošā izglītība, integrācija, pusaudzis.

The topic of this Master Paper is “Fostering Social Integration of Adolescents with Impaired Hearing”. In Latvia, there is no precise statistics about the number of children with functional disabilities, and how many of them – with impaired hearing. There are approximately 2000 deaf people and 30 000 people with impaired hearing registered in the official registers in Latvia. Annually, approximately 150 children are diagnosed with impaired hearing. The information on the ratio between these groups in educational institutions, where children with various hearing disabilities study, is insufficient and it is an indirect evidence that there is not enough research done in this area in Latvia. The aim of this Paper is to examine the opportunities of social integration of adolescents with impaired hearing. In the theoretical part of this Paper, the author has carried out a desk research analysing the literature on the notion of integration and its process, causes of impaired hearing and their classification, characteristics of adolescents with impaired hearing, and studying the opportunities for social integration of adolescents with impaired hearing. A survey has been carried out in Riga Boarding School for children with impaired hearing, the obtained results have been analysed and recommendations have been devised.
