Dzimumatšķirības autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas dimensijās

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba tēma ir „Dzimumatšķirības autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas dimensijās”. Bakalaura darbs tika veltīts autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas un tās dzimumatšķirību teorētiskai un empīriskai izpētei. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas ir dzimunatšķirības autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas dimensijās. Pētījumā piedalījās divas izlases: 40 sievietes un 40 vīrieši, vecumā no 20 līdz 40 gadiem. Sieviešu grupa tika pielīdzināta pēc vecuma un izglītības līmeņa vīriešu grupai. Pētījumā tika izmantota Atmiņu pārdzīvojumu aptauja (Memory Experiences Questionnaire /MEQ/, Sutin & Robins, 2007), kas latviešu valodā tika adaptēta šī pētījuma ietvaros. Darba ietveros tika veikta šī instrumenta psihometrisko rādītāju pārbaude. Veiktajā pētījumā tika konstatētas statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības starp grupu aritmētiskiem vidējiem dimensijās pieejamība, sensorā komponente, emocionālā intensitāte, dalīšanās ar citiem un distancēšanās. Minētājās dimensijās sievietes uzrādīja augstākus rezultātus nekā vīrieši. Darba praktisko nozīmību nosaka jaunas metodikas adaptācija un aprobācija empīriskajā pētījumā. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti var būt izmantojami turpmāko pētījumu dizaina izstrādē, jo dzimumam var būt prognostika nozīme autobiogrāfiskās atmiņas raksturotāju izpētē.

The theme of this thesis is “Gender differences in autobiographical memory characteristics”. The thesis focuses on theoretical and practical research of the autobiographical memory and gender differences in its characteristics. The main aim of the practical research was to find out the differences in autobiographical memory characteristics between women and men. Two samples took part in research: 40 women and 40 men at the age 20 – 40 years. The female group has been equal to male group in age and educational level. In this study was used Memory Experiences Questionnaire /MEQ/ (Sutin & Robins, 2007) that has been adapted in Latvia within the framework of this thesis. The psychometric properties of the instruments were tested within the framework of this research. The research showed that there are statistically significant differences in autobiographical memory characteristics accessibility, sensory detail, emotional intensity, sharing and distancing. Women displayed higher results in these characteristics. Practical importance of this work is the adaptation of a new instrument and its approbation in empirical research. The results can be used in design of the future researches because the gender may have prognostic value in research of autobiographical memory characteristics.
