Stresori policistu darbā Latvijas vidē

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir atklāt, kādi stresori ir policistu darbā Latvijā un kā tos var iedalīt četrās kategorijās, vadoties pēc teorijas. Lai noteiktu, kādi ir stresori Latvijas policistu darbā, tika izmantota viena izlase – policisti, kas strādā Latvijā. Ierobežoto resursu dēļ, izlasē tika iekļauti policisti no Rīgas policijas iecirkľiem. Pētījumā tika izmantota autores izstrādāta aptauja ar diviem atvērtajiem jautājumiem. 1. jautājums: Kas, Jūsuprāt, policistiem sagādā stresu? 2. jautājums: Kas Jums sagādā stresu Jūsu darbā? Kā arī papildus tika ievākta demogrāfiskā informācija par respondentu dzimumu, vecumu, izglītības līmenis un veicamā darba specifiku – vai tas ir administratīvais darbs, aktīvā patruļa vai tiek veikti abi darbi Svarīgākā pētījuma teorētiskā atziľa ir tā, ka policistiem vairāk stresu sagādā organizācijas stresori, kas ir ikdienas rutīna, vadība, atalgojums un citi organizācijas aspekti, nevis traumatiskie un bīstamie ar darba uzdevumu saistītie stresori. Šī atziľa ir pierādījusies arī pētījuma empīriskajā daļā, kur respondenti vairāk ir minējuši tieši organizācijas stresorus – atalgojumu, slodzi un vadības un valdības attieksmi pret policiju un tās veikto darbu. Šie rezultāti uzskatāmi parāda, ka organizācijas stresori ir nopietns stresa avots policijas darba vidē Latvijā un to ir nepieciešams risināt un ar to strādāt.

The study aims to find out what police work stressors are in Latvia and how they can be divided into four classes according to the theory. To determine what is stressors in Latvian police work, was used one sample - police officers who work in Latvia. Due to limited resources, in the sample were included policemen from the Riga police stations. In the study was used a survey developed by the author with two open questions. 1st Question: What do you think are the stressors the police face? 2nd Question: What are the stressors you face in your job? As well as additional demographic information was gathered about respondent gender, age, education level and nature of the work - whether it is administrative work, the active patrols or they are being conducted both works. The most important theoretical finding of the study is that the police officers are more poses with organizational stressors, which are a daily routine, management, wages and other aspects of the organization, rather than traumatic aspects and danger of the work tasks. This conclusion has been proven by the empirical study too, the section where more respondents have mentioned the organization directly stressors - salaries, workload and management and the government's attitude towards the police and their work. These results demonstrate that the organizational stressors are a serious source of stress in police work environment in Latvia and it needs to be adressed.
