Mūzikas mācīšanās ietekme uz vizuālās domāšanas, darba atmiņas un apstrādes procesu attīstību astoņu mēnešu periodā bērniem sešu līdz septiņu gadu vecumā
Abstract
Šī maģistra darba mērķis bija noskaidrot noteiktu kognitīvo pamatiespēju – darba atmiņas, vizuālās domāšanas un apstrādes ātruma - saistību ar mūzikas apguvi 8 mēnešu periodā bērniem 6 līdz 7 gadu vecumā. Lai to noskaidrotu, tika veikts longitudināls pētījums ar jauktu dizainu.
Pētījuma respondenti - 54 Vidzemes reģiona vispārizglītojošo un mūzikas skolu 1. klašu audzēkņi; vecuma amplitūda eksperimentālajā grupā - no 6 gadiem un 1 mēneša līdz 7 gadiem un 9 mēnešiem (vidējais vecums – 7,04 gadi), kontroles grupā – no 6 gadiem un 2 mēnešiem līdz 7 gadiem 11 mēnešiem (vidējais vecums – 7,27 gadi).
Par pētījuma instrumentāriju izmantots Vekslera intelekta tests bērniem, IV izdevuma (VITB-IV) atsevišķi apakštesti.
Pētījuma rezultātā tika secināts, ka starp eksperimentālo un kontroles grupu pastāv atšķirības darba atmiņā un vizuālajā domāšanā, bet ne apstrādes ātrumā.

The design of the study was longitudinal.
The participants of this study were 54 pupil of various regions of Vidzeme starting first grade in elementary school along with music school or only in elementary school, aged from 6 years and a month to 7 years and 9 months in experimental group, (7,04 years in average) and from 6 years and two months to 7 years and 11 months in control group (7,27 years in average).
Used method was three certain subtests from Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - Fourth Edition (Picture Concepts, Coding, Digit Span) to measure previously mentioned cognitive abilities.
The results of this paper shows that there are two statistically significant differences between control and experiment
