The theme of the research is „The efficiency of the political communication of the parties: the
case of National Alliance”. The research question is: which of the two types of political
communication has been more effective in the case of the National Alliance? The aim of this
research - to find out which types of political communication have been more effective during
the 11th Parliamentary elections for the National Alliance.
It was concluded that the hypothesis of the research was proved. The mass political
communication among the National Alliance electorate has proved to be more effective than
interpersonal political communication. The effectiveness of both types of political
communication has been clarified based on the evaluation system of the effectiveness of
political communication (using modified and adapted metodology by Rudiger Schmitt –
Beck).
Key words: political communication, efficiency, interpersonal communication, mass
communication.
