With the impact of the globalization and the migration the ethnical relationships in Latvia is no longer limited on Latvian permanent inhabitants. The issue of the acceptance and the integration of the other nationalities are current. The aim of the thesis is to study the inclusion of the foreign youngsters into the local society, to explore their view on the attitude of the local society towards them, and to reveal the ethnical relations within the Latvian society. The combination of the qualitative and the visual methods are used in the research.
The results show that the obstacles of the inclusion of the foreigners into the local society are the disassociation as well as the attitudes and actions based on the ethnocentrism, intolerance, stereotypes and prejudices.
The conclusions draw attention to the possible integration problems of the new immigrants and the acceptance of the diversity.
