Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „Meklētājprogrammu izmantošana informācijas meklēšanai internetā” veikts pētījums, lai noskaidrotu, kuras no meklētājprogrammām lietotāji izmanto informācijas meklēšanai. Problēmsituācija un pētījuma problēma ir, ka meklēšana ne vienmēr ir efektīva. Pētījuma problēmsituāciju rada tas, ka informācija, kuru lietotājs meklē, ne vienmēr sniedz vēlamo rezultātu. Pētījuma mērķis ir uzzināt, kādā veidā aptaujātie lietotāji meklē informāciju, kā arī uzzināt, vai informācijas meklēšana ar meklētājprogrammām internetā ir populāra, un pierādīt, vai hipotēze, ka Google šobrīd ir populārākais meklētājs, apstiprinās. Rezultātā var secināt, ka interneta lietotājiem informācijas meklēšana internetā ir nozīmīga un neatņemama sastāvdaļa, tāpēc tā ir nepieciešama, lai palīdzētu kvalitatīvāk un ātrāk izzināt tīmekļa vietnes.

In the dissertation entitled "Use of search engines to find information on the internet" research was conducted to ascertain which search engines users employ to find information. The context of the research problem is effective search application. The research context shows that the information that the user seeks does not always give the desired result. The goal of the research is to find out in what ways the users questioned search for information and to find out if searching for information on the internet is popular with those searching. From the results it is possible to conclude that for internet users searching for information on the internet is a significant and essential constituent part, therefore it is necessary in order to help people find websites more quickly and qualitatively.
