Pacientu zināšanu līmenis un sagatavotība gremošanas trakta izmeklēšanām

Abstract

Sekmīga pacientu ārstēšana nav iespējama bez efektīgas diagnostikas. Izmeklēšanas rezultāts ir atkarīgs ne tikai no augsti kvalificēta personāla (ārsta, māsas) un mūsdienīga tehniskā nodrošinājuma, bet lielā mērā no pacienta līdzdalības, ko nodrošina laba pacientu informētība un sagatavotība izmeklējumiem. Problēmas būtība – neapmierinošs, zems pacientu informētības līmenis par endoskopiskiem izmeklējumiem, nesagatavoti pacienti - gan fizioloģiski, gan psiholoģiski. Savlaicīga pacientu informēšana un sagatavošana sekmē endoskopisko izmeklēšanu kvalitāti un nodrošina medicīnas personāla un pacientu sadarbību.Pētījuma rezultāti parādīja, ka pacientu zināšanas par endoskopiju un līdz ar to sagatavotība endoskopiskiem izmeklējumiem ir nepietiekoša. Darbā izmantoti 54 literatūras avoti, 7 pielikumi, 5 tabulas, 23 attēli.

Successful medical treatment of patient is not possible without effective diagnostics. The result of the examination lies not only with highly skilled personnel (doctor, nurse) and up-to-date technical supply, but depends widely upon patient involvment that is ensured by informing patients and preparing patients for examination. The essence of the problem – unsatisfactory, low patient awareness level about endoscopic examinations, unprepared patients (both physiologically, and psychologically). Well-timed patient information and preparation for the examination contributes to the quality of the endoscopic examination and provides personnel and patient collaboration.Motivation faciliates examination and part of the patients would not need sedation if their knowledge and preparedness would be sufficient. 54 bibliographical sources are used in the paper, it contains 7 appendixes.
