Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādi rāmējumi tika izmantoti ziņās par vīrusu A(H1N1), jeb „Cūku gripu”, riska komunikācijas ietvarā, koncentrējoties uz pieciem vispārējiem ziņu rāmjiem (generic frames) – atbildības, konflikta, humāno interešu, ekonomisko seku un morāles, ko definējuši masu mediju pētnieki, prof. Rassels Ņjūmans, prof. Marions Džasts un prof. Anna Kriglere (Neuman, Just & Crigler).
Atslēgvārdi: pandēmija, rāmējumi, riska komunikācija, rāmējuma analīze, H1N1 Bachelor work objective is to explore what frames are used in news about pandemic influenza A (H1N1) or "Swine flu" in risk communication framework, focusing on five generic news frames - responsibility, conflict, human interest, economic consequences, and morality, defined by media researchers Neuman, Just & Crigler.
The theoretical part is dealt with risk communication and framing theory based on the theoretical statements of leading researchers.
In empirical part of bachelor's work the author, using content analysis and framing analysis methods took measurements to determine, which of the generic frames in news about pandemic A (H1N1) are present and does the newspapers used visual images as an additional element to attract the audience’s attention to risk situation.
