Tehnoloģiju determinēti interneta lietojuma modeļi studentu auditorijā Latvijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Tehnoloģiju determinēti interneta lietošanas modeļi studentu auditorijā Latvijā” mērķis ir atklāt potenciālās atšķirības, kā arī analizēt interneta lietošanas modeļus, kas veidojas studentiem, izmantojot internetu dažādās tehnoloģiskās platformās. Darbā vērtēts vai dažādo, t.i., mobilo un fiksēto, ierīču lietojums rada būtiskas atšķirības studentu interneta lietošanas paradumos, un vai tādejādi tiek radīts risks lielākai digitālai plaisai sabiedrībā. Lai to noteiktu, darbā izmantota sekundāro datu analīze, organizētas fokusa grupu diskusijas un veiktas dziļās intervijas. Darbs balstīts teorētiskās pieejās, kas aplūko tehnoloģiju lomu informācijas sabiedrībā, skaidro digitālās plaisas fenomenu un skaidro interneta lietojuma motivāciju.

The aim of bachelor thesis „ Technologically determined models of internet usage among students in Latvia” is to determine the probable variation and approach to analyze computing environment models that are developed by students operating different IT platforms. This study determines whether different mobile and stationary platforms create a significant difference in student computing habits, therefore creating a significant technological gap in society. In order to determine this phenomenon, the study analyzed secondary data, conducted focus group interviews and deep interviews. The theoretical approach was based on the role and importance of technology in society and explains the digital divide phenomenon and the internet user’s motivation.
