Bakalaura darba tēma: Starptautiskā zīmola „Gorenje” adaptācija Latvijas tirgū (1996 -2007.
Pētījuma problēma: zīmola "Gorenje" adaptācija Latvijas tirgū.Darba hipotēze: zīmola "Gorenje" adaptācija Latvijas tirgū notiek, sekojot koncerna starptautiskajām prasībām, bet maz ievērojot Latvijas patērētāju tirgus lokālās īpatnības. Pētījuma mērķis: precizēt, atlasīt un izvērtēt zīmola "Gorenje" adaptācijas paņēmienus un kritērijus Latvijā. Pētījumā tiek aplūkots zīmola jēdziens un būtība, zīmolvedība, zīmola radīšana, reklāmas pamatformas, valodas un tulkošanas loma adaptācijas procesā.
Darbā izmantotas šādas pētījuma metodes: salīdzinošā lingvistiskā analīze, anketēšana, kontentanalīze, dziļā intervija, speciālās literatūras un rezultātu analīze.
Darbs sastāv no 3 anotācijām (latviešu, angļu un vācu valodā), atslēgvārdiem, apzīmējumu saraksta, ievada, teorētiskās un empīriskās daļas, ko veido 14 nodaļas, secinājumiem un rezultātiem, izmantoto informācijas avotu saraksta, pielikumiem, attēliem un tabulām.

The paper hypothesis: the brand „Gorenje” adaptation in Latvia is taking place according to international reqiurements, without taking into consideration the peculiarities of the local consumer market.
The aim of the paper is to clarify, select and assess the methods and criteria of the „Gorenje” adaptation in Latvia. The paper studies the definition of a brand, the creation of brand, the main forms of advertising, language and translation in the process of adaptation are given.
The author uses the following research methods: comparative linguistic analysis, questionnaire, content analysis, an interview, special literature, results analysis. The paper consists of 3 annotations (in Latvian, English and German), keywords, an introduction, theoretical and empiric parts which include 14 paragraphs, a conclusion, a list of bibliography, appendix, pictures and tables. Key words: brand, standardization, adaptation, culture, language, translation strategies, the brand „Gorenje”.
