Sabiedriskā transporta sistēma ir ļoti nozīmīga pilnvērtīgai pilsētas dzīvei Rīgā. Tajā arī ir daudz neatrisinātu problēmu. Daļu no tām iespējams risināt, izmantojot modernas informācijas tehnoloģijas. The public transport is very important for city life quality in Riga. It also has much unsolved problems. It is possible to solve part of them, using modern information technologies. The author of this work decided to identify these problems. One of them, which is not solved yet and its solving is not planned in the near future, is transport vehicle driver inability always to notice a human with special needs in public transport stop. This problem solving was offered, which consists of two sensor nodes: stop and transport vehicle node. Passenger authorizes in a stop, using RFID technologies. Information about the expecting passenger is transmitted to the sensor node of transport vehicle, using radio wireless connections, and it represents to a driver in a convenient way. The system prototype was implemented and tested; it demonstrates that the system is feasible, using available components. This work describes the system architecture, implementation problems discovered in field tests.
