Bakalaura darba „Zaļas ekonomikas veidošana Baltijas jūras reģionā” mērķis ir noskaidrot valsts praktisko lomu zaļas ekonomikas veidošanā un identificēt instrumentus, ar kuriem tā veiksmīgāk īstenojama, aplūkojot Baltijas jūras reģiona valstu piemēru.
Darba pirmajā daļā tiek apskatīta vides un ekonomikas mijiedarbība, valsts loma ekonomikā un valsts rīcībā esošie ekonomiskie instrumenti zaļas ekonomikas veidošanai. Otrajā daļā tiek aplūkota starptautiskā sadarbība vides problēmu risināšanā. Trešajā nodaļā tiek veikts Baltijas jūras reģiona valstu novērtējums pēc autores atlasītajiem kritērijiem un ekspertu sniegtā vērtējuma. Darba rezultātā tiek noteiktas Baltijas jūras reģiona valstis, kuras var uzskatīt par veiksmīgām virzībā uz zaļu ekonomiku un identificēti valsts rīcībā esošie ekonomiskie instrumenti, kuriem ir būtiska nozīme zaļas ekonomikas veidošanā.
