Bakalaura darbā mērķis ir noskaidrot Ghetto Games nozīmi Grīziņkalna apkaimes identitātes veidošanā. Bakalaura darba teorētiskajā daļā autors izmantoja pilsētas sociologu idejas par pilsētu kultūru un ekoloģiju, kā arī apkaimes identitātes veidošanās teorijas. Tāpat autors analizēja informāciju par Grīziņkalna vēsturi un Ghetto Games attīstību. Bakalaura darba ietvaros tika izmantotas kvantitatīvās datu iegūšanas metodes: elektroniska aptaujas anketa internetā.
Pētījuma laikā tika izdarīti galvenie secinājumi, ka, pirmkārt, Ghetto Games sekmē Grīziņkalna apkaimes identitātes veidošanos. Otrkārt, jaunieši saista Grīziņkalna apkaimi ar Ghetto Games. Treškārt, Ghetto Games popularizē ielu kultūru.

In the theoretical part of this study the author used the ideas of urban sociologists about urban culture and ecology, as well as the neighbourhood identity theories. The author also used information about the history of Grīziņkalns and Ghetto Games. The author used quantitative reserach methods: namely electronic questionaire on the internet.
During the study, the author came to these main conclusions. First of all, Ghetto Games does contribute to the construction of neighbourhood identity in Grīziņkalns. Secondly, the youth associates Grīziņkalns with Ghetto Games. Thirdly, Ghetto Games popularizes street culture.
