In this work I focused on influence of ideas of political theory on development of society, stressing that political utopias and ideologies are tight related to each other. The validity of this thesis I proved, analyzing interaction between ideological values and attainability of goals of these values in political praxis and also analyzing in a wider sense possibilities of realization of outside ideologies standing futurological predictions, which relate to the information society.
Hypothesis that utopian consciousness is essential part of contemporary political process, including formation of information society, was approved.
Utopias and utopian thinking are related to ideology and projects of technological development of societies. Ernst Bloch and Karl Manheim both intend to stress the progressive role of utopias contrasting them to ideologies which are tended on maintaining the existing.
