Pētījuma metode bija demogrāfiskie jautājumi un Apmierinātības ar dzīvi skala (Satisfaction With Life Scale; Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin, 1985).
| en_US |
dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis was to learn about statistically significant differences in the mean satisfaction with life in men compared to women, and in employed compared to unemployed young adults. Another question to explore was the sex differences in satisfaction with life correlations with employment, work experience in months, age and education.
In total, this research had 96 participants (employed n = 40, unemployed n = 56): 45 men and 51 women aged 18-25 (M = 21.97).
The method used was demographical questions together with Satisfaction With Life Scale (Diener, Emmons, Larsen & Griffin, 1985).
The results showed statistically significant differences between men and women, but not between employed and unemployed young adults. There were no statistically significant gender differences in the correlations with demographical indicators | en_US |
