Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma – „Holistiska aprūpe pacientiem agrīnajā pēc insulta periodā”. Insults izraisa virkni nopietnu traucējumu, kas ietekmē pacientu dzīves kvalitāti: problēmas ar koncentrēšanos, loģisko domāšanu un atmiņu, kustību koordinācijas traucējumus. Daži no insulta pacientiem cieš no dažādu veidu afāzijas. Insulta pacienti bieži izjūt ne tikai fiziskās, bet arī psihoneiroloģiskās sekas, aptuveni viena trešdaļa no insulta pacientiem piedzīvo smagu depresiju. Māsām varbūt potenciāli nozīmīga loma pacientu rehabilitācijā pēc insulta. Kaut arī rehabilitācija turpina koncentrēties galvenokārt uz fizisko funkciju atgūšanu liecina, ka šī interpretācija rehabilitācijas jomā ir nepietiekama, holistiskā aprūpe ir process, kur pacienti ir ne tikai ārstēti sakarā ar fizisko slimību simptomiem vai stāvokli, bet arī ņemot vērā garīgo, emocionālo, sociālo, kultūras, attiecību un vides aspektu kontekstu. Veiktie teorētiskie un praktiskie pētījumi ļāva izdarīt secinājumus, ka vienota visaptveroša holistiskā pieeja samazina insulta pacientu trauksmi un depresijas simptomus, liekot uzsvaru uz psiholoģisko labsajūtu.
