Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma – Pacientu ar galvas smadzeņu traumām aprūpe stacionārā. Galvas smadzeņu trauma ir viens no visbiežāk sastopamajiem un sarežģītākajiem traumu veidiem ar augstu letalitāti un posttraumatisko invaliditāti. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kāda aprūpe tiek veikta pacientiem ar galvas smadzeņu traumām, kuri pārvesti tālākai ārstēšanai un rehabilitācijai no intensīvās terapijas nodaļas uz klīnisko nodaļu. Pētniecības uzdevumi ir veikt literatūras analīzi par galvas smadzeņu traumu pacientu aprūpi, analizēt D.E. Oremas māszinību teoriju saistībā ar bakalaura darba tēmu, izstrādāt pētījuma instrumentu, veikt pilotpētījumu un pētījumu, veikt iegūto datu analīzi un formulēt secinājumus. Pētniecības jautājums: Kāda aprūpe tiek veikta pacientiem ar galvas smadzeņu traumām, kuri pārvesti no intensīvās terapijas nodaļas uz klīnisko nodaļu tālākai ārstēšanai un rehabilitācijai? Atbildot uz pētniecības jautājumu, var secināt, ka galvas smadzeņu traumu pacientiem nepieciešama sekojoša aprūpe – gultas un miega režīma nodrošināšana, pretsāpju terapija, vitālo rādītāju monitorēšana, izgulējumu profilakse, adekvāta uztura un šķidruma uzņemšana, higiēnas nodrošināšana un pašaprūpes veicināšana. Pētījuma veikšanai izmantota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode, instruments – daļēji strukturēta intervija. Pētījuma respondenti – septiņas māsas, kuras nodrošina aprūpi pacientiem ar galvas smadzeņu traumām nodaļā. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no teorētiskās, pētnieciskās daļas un 4 pielikumiem. The theme of the Bachelor paper – Hospital care of patients with brain injuries. Brain injuries are some of the most common and most complicated injuries with high fatality and post-traumatic disability rates. The aim of the Bachelor paper is to examine appropriate care methods provided for patients with brain injury who were transferred from an intensive care unit to a clinical unit for the purpose of further treatment and rehabilitation. The research tasks are as follows: to analyse the relevant literature, to analyse D.E. Orem’s nursing theory in conjunction with the theme of the Bachelor paper, to develop an effective research method, to carry out a pilot study and research, to carry out analysis of data and to formulate conclusions. The research question is: What kind of care is provided for patients with brain injury who were transferred from an intensive care unit to a clinical unit for the purpose of further treatment and rehabilitation? In answer to the question, can make a conclusion that patients with brain injuries require subsequent care – rest-cure providing a sufficient amount of sleep, pain relief, a vital signs monitoring, bedsore prevention, adequate nutrition and fluid intake, hygiene assurance and promotion of self-care. A qualitative research method was used, by the means of a partially structured interview. The Bachelor paper consists of theoretical and research parts and of 4 attachments. The respondents were seven clinical-unit nurses who provide care of patients with brain injury. Keywords: patient, brain injury, care, care problems, rehabilitation, education.
