Abstract

Karjeras izglītība ķīmijā skolēniem. Spolīte E., zinātniskais vadītājs Dr. ķīm, doc. Logins J. Maģistra darbs, 48 lappuses, 18 attēli, 2 tabulas, 35 literatūras avoti, 8 pielikumi. Latviešu valodā. Maģistra darbā pētīts, kā veicināt skolēnu interesi par ķīmiju, kas savukārt motivētu ķīmiķa karjeras izvēli. Darbā analizēta literatūra par karjeras izglītību, kā tā tiek īstenota un kādas tiek piedāvātās iespējas skolēniem apgūt karjeras izglītību ķīmijā Latvijā. Pētījumā analizētas pirmā kursa studentu aptaujas par studijām Ķīmijas fakultātē, veikta skolēnu anketēšana pirms pirmās karjeras izglītības nodarbības Jauno ķīmiķu skolā un pēc nodarbību aprobācijas, secinot, ka izmantotās metodes palīdz motivēt skolēnus izvēlēties ķīmiķa karjeru. Izveidoti un aprobēti nodarbību plāni par karjeras izglītību Jauno ķīmiķu skolas darbībā, izstrādāti priekšlikumi Ķīmijas fakultātes mājaslapai un pilnveidota mācību ekskursija LU Ķīmijas fakultātē.

In Latvian. The Master´s Thesis explores the possibilities to promote the students’ interest in chemistry that would consequently promote the choice of the chemist’s career. In this paper the literature about career education has been analysed, the means used to carry it out and the possibilities offered for the students to make a chemist career decision in Latvia. In this research the surveys of the first year students have been analysed about their studies at the Faculty of Chemistry. Students have been questioned before the first career education training at the Young Chemists’ School and after the approbation of the training. The conclusion has been made that the methods used help to motivate the students to choose chemistry as their career. Teaching and learning plans for career education activities have been created and approbated at Young Chemists’ School, proposals have been made to upgrade the home page of the university and educational excursion at LU Faculty of Chemistry has been improved.
